CHARTERED SURVEYORS AUCTIONEERS ESTATE AGENTS VALUERS

As many of our regular clients and purchasers will know, Nesbits are yet to make a regular return to the physical Auction Saleroom.  Pending a resumption of “normal service”, we will continue to offer and sell our Lots on terms created to contend with Covid 19 restrictions (when Saleroom attendance was not possible) – enquiries and viewings being invited, bids being submitted and managed, and, once competition has ceased, settlement taking place with the successful bidder (assuming an acceptable sum to have been offered)

Settlement will match standard Saleroom performance: immediate signature and exchange of contracts, payment of a 10% deposit plus Buyer’s Premium (currently £450, plus VAT) and any other associated costs, (as contained within the Special Conditions of Sale, possibly to include a contribution towards Sellers legal fees), and completion 28 days later.

It should be noted that the above process DOES NOT INVOLVE A CLOSING DATE as such, the transaction being concluded as soon as an acceptable bid is received from a ready and able buyer.

GUIDE PRICE

Any and all Lots will be presented with an associated Guide Price – an indication to potential bidders of the seller’s expectations.  The guide does not dictate the amount at which a particular Lot will be sold and the figures are subject to change up to the point of sale.

MONEY LAUNDERING REGULATIONS

Bidders/buyers will be required to provide the Auctioneers I.D. to confirm their identity and address, this being prior to purchasing.

PAYMENTS

Deposit and Buyer’s Premium must be paid by bank transfer only, this taking place in advance of exchange of contracts.
