As of 21st May 2010 the requirement for a Home Information Pack (HIP) has been suspended pending legislation to abolish permanently.
 
The requirement for vendor’s to supply a Energy Performance Certificate (E.P.C) remains but need not be in place at the point of marketing(although it must have been commissioned).
